Nothing came remotely close to it until now
I have to say I was lucky enough to watch The Bureau a few years ago, and to be honest it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. There is a correlation between the two series, obviously it’s "influences" By the way, but tbh I wasn’t expecting a similar storyline.
You won’t regret it
Don’t get me wrong, the series has been amazing up to this point, great cast, good cinematography, but it’s nothing I haven’t already seen in the French version. It’s too early to tell how it will turn out, but I highly suggest anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to watch it.
It’s not something you watch while riding your bike on the indoor trainer
After Fassbender played a professional hitman in David Finchers film The Killer, I saw him cast and immediately knew he was a great choice for the role. Watching that type of series really requires some concentration, so you can keep up with all the characters in the plot and the little details about them.
Such series either you love them or you don’t like them at all, there is no middle ground
Some may consider them slow, maybe boring, but precisely because of those traits in the characters and the complex personal battles and slow build of tension, they are great in my opinion.
