The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views and landmarks of Oklahoma imposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of Sioux Indian Chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a war bonnet and a bone necklace (armor) imposed on top of the Brooklyn Bridge. The Route 66 Western Gateway Arch imposed on a major Manhattan Avenue. In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, there are several numbered Avenues.

Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode No. 45.7 (2022). I’ve always liked Stallone, over the years, yes he’s addicted to sequels but he’s made some really enjoyable films while sprinkling in a few classics along the way.
Fun to watch, worth checking out
In Tulsa King might very well be his best work just from an acting standpoint, he’s just stone cold as a mob boss. The series itself has an interesting story, it’s well written making full use of the humor of a New York gangster in Tulsa, Oklahoma without getting silly at all, add a healthy dose of violence, good writing and dialogue and a great supporting cast and characters and they have a winner.
